Built: 1897

Realtor Blurb: Beautiful Victorian home built in 1897, located on a corner 3/4 acre lot! Master bedroom downstairs & upstairs. 5 FP, 3 1/2 baths, & 3992 sq feet. Gorgeous hardwood floors, heavy molding, & so much more! Furnace is 2 years old per Seller.

My Notes: WOW! The restoration on the outside is INCREDIBLE. Eastlake-ish, even; with those period color shingles. I did some delving, because this smacks of a Barber design to me; but was not able to find much. After digging a bit; I found that this was called the Ezekial Etheridge House, and was originally on 409 E. Church St. - part of the Church Street Historic District; which is its' only entry into the NRHP. It's mentioned here & here; one picture here; and included below. No more info on the builder/architect; however. The inside is very nice with *huge* rooms and virtually untouched detail (except for the usual whitewash of the wood trimmings); but I don't really get the enclosed stair. But if that's the only complaint..right?
