Realtor Blurb:
A piece of history - on historic registry! This 177 year old home has heart pine floors, a grand staircase, beautiful pocket doors and original moldings. High ceilings, large rooms, a 1st and 2nd story porch, expansive central hallway upstairs and downstairs. Features on the porch include an address sign and old mailbox. Visitors are greeted by an iron fence with gate. Potting shed, old well and small fish pond w/ waterfall. Heated by space heaters and gas logs in fireplaces. 4 window AC units for cooling. This beautiful home is just waiting to be restored to its former glory! Located in downtown Newberry, restaurants, antique stores and the Newberry Opera House are within walking distance.

My Notes: This is a Federal house that was modified around 1890 in the Eastlake style; hence the double attribution. It needs quite some work; but all the original elements remain - including the doors. Lovely staircase. Mentioned in NRHP here (and screencapped below) and at OHD here. The last is an old picture I found on Google.
** Zillow & Realtor say 1838; NRHP says 1940.
