My Notes: This house has been on and off the market for the last year; starting price $499,900.
It's beautiful & in great condition with no major renovation snafus; so I can see the current price being a better bet - Monroe is a little far to be considered a 'suburb' of Charlotte; but lots of beautiful houses here; and Union County taxes are probably a tad lower than Mecklenburg's. I'm including a photo below from the removed Zillow listing; just because I think it shows the house at a better angle. Zillow link includes slightly different pictures than the above two.
