Realtor Blurb:
19th Century 3 story brick 4 BR 2 BA Federal-Greek Revival style home listed in NC Preservation Nat'l Reg known as Twitchell-Gallaway home. Built on addition in 1995 & updated in 2014. Main level w/9-10' ceilings, gourmet kit w/granite ctrtops. Formal DR w/FP/dbl Doric columns. English bsmt w/exp beams, FP w/exposed brick walls/floors to walk-out garden patio. Interior and exterior wood work by Master Craftsman Thomas Day.

My Note: If you don't know who Thomas Day was; you gotta learn! He was a freedman; an African American woodworker whose work became prized throughout North and South Carolina. Many examples of his work have been lost; so those few houses that survive with his craftsmanship intact are very valuable.

I also wanted to mention that these sellers seem to be VERY motivated; I've been seeing this house on Craigslist for months (as of Sept. '15). Madison is about 45 min. from any major town.
