My parents raised me in a house very similar to this. Absolutely love it; wish there was more acreage. In my opinion; modernized kitchens and bathrooms such as seen here tend to flow much better in houses built in the Craftsman and forward styles (1905+); you can 'get away with' using modern fixtures without too much visual incongruity. However; if one is a sticker for authenticity; there are a few issues here that might be too much to deal with. YMMV, of course.
