Realtor Blurb:

One of a kind Greek Revival with amazing detail captures the grandeur of a bygone era. This was once the grandest home in Hamlet and could be again. Home also features a large basement and big walk up attic, three sets of pocket doors, screen porch, glass porch and so much more.

My Notes: Yes, you read that price correctly. This house is AMAZING. However; it seems like it could be a contender for that movie 'The Money Pit'...possibly. Notice the ceiling in the kitchen (that photo has been removed from the realtor sites; check OHD below). There is a huge and informative discussion over on Old House Dreams about what it would take to revive this grand old lady; and what pitfalls you might run into. Seems recent owners fixed the roof and cut down shrubs (and sadly, trees); but that's about it. One person says there's at least $200K worth of work to be done, but I bet it would be worth it. It's going to take someone dedicated to restoring it well, but the bones are most definitely there. I'm posting a Street View screencap below from '13.
