6 Beds; 4 Baths; 3963 Sq.Ft.
1701 Rhem Ave New Bern, NC 28560
.52 Acres
Built: 1920

Realtor Blurb:
The historic Armstrong-Block House ca. 1920 "exemplifies the popular use of eclectic motifs from the Craftsman, California, and Bungalow styles". Mostly original interior woodwork and many original art deco lighting fixtures. Recently updated triple-zoned heating and air conditioning system. Six spacious bedrooms and four full bathrooms. Play room, home office, and laundry room. Exceptionally large lot for the Ghent Neighborhood - (originally three parcels) measures 150' by 150'. Easy stroll to the YMCA and convenient access to Highways 17 and 70. Half basement and crawl space foundation.

My Notes: Lovely!! I love all the craftsman detail! NRHP paper here and screencapped below. I hope the owners would consider selling some of their obviously carefully curated and collected period furnishings with the house.
