My Notes: This house was for sale a couple/few years ago; and the listing had a lack-luster picture of it - I know that *I* passed it by several times soley because the picture made it look badly restored and not appealing at all. It was off-market for quite a while; and has now re-appeared with MUCH better pictures. Beautiful staircase and balustrade; although like many of these old ladies the woodwork has been painted white - which is a PITA to try and get off. Decent amount of land and trees - Street View shows it well situated on the block. Turret room is lovely also. Albermarle is a fairly decent-sized town; but quite a haul to Charlotte. Not so far to Fayettville.
